RentGrid — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of RentGrid (“Service”), operated by James Wilson Alliance LLC, doing business as RentGrid (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using RentGrid, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What RentGrid Is (and Is Not)

RentGrid is a verified rental listing platform designed to reduce rental scams by verifying landlords and listings.

RentGrid does not own or manage properties

RentGrid is not a broker, agent, or property manager

RentGrid does not guarantee rental outcomes

RentGrid does not conduct tenant background checks

All rental agreements are strictly between landlords and tenants.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use RentGrid.

By using the Service, you confirm that:

You are legally able to enter into agreements

The information you provide is accurate and truthful

3. Landlord Listings & Verification

Landlords may submit listings for verification.

Verification may include:

Identity confirmation

Ownership or authorization checks

Manual review

Verification does not guarantee property condition, availability, or legality.

RentGrid reserves the right to:

Reject or remove listings

Suspend or terminate accounts

Update verification criteria at any time

4. Fees & Payments

Certain services may require payment.

All fees are disclosed before purchase

Payments are processed through third-party providers

RentGrid does not store payment card information

Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable once verification has begun.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Post false or misleading information

Impersonate another person

Attempt to bypass verification

Scrape, harvest, or abuse the platform

Use RentGrid for unlawful activity

Violation may result in immediate removal or suspension.

6. Intellectual Property

All RentGrid content, branding, and materials are owned by RentGrid or licensed to us.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

7. Disclaimers

RentGrid is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We make no guarantees regarding:

Rental success

Accuracy of third-party information

Availability of listings

Compatibility with all devices or browsers

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentGrid is not liable for:

Rental disputes

Financial losses

Property issues

Fraud conducted outside our platform

Indirect or consequential damages

Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time if these Terms are violated.

You may stop using RentGrid at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
